Team Background

Meet the Team

George Warner

George turned his hobby into a business in 1972 when he left his job as an electrical/mechanical technician and started Multiprint in Cowdenbeath. Within a short period the company moved to larger premises in Kirkcaldy’s Mitchelston Industrial Estate. Under his leadership the business went from strength to strength investing in the latest equipment and recruiting the best people. In 1985 he moved the business to four times larger custom-built premises in Seafield Road where the company is today.

When asked why the business is so successful he replied “hard work and a dogged determination to satisfy our customers resulting in them coming  back time after time”.

Now retired George enjoys family, golf, gardening and caravanning.

Lesley Winton

Lesley Joined the company in 1989 as a paste-up artist, then went on to become creative director producing corporate identities and brochures for many of the companies who still use Multiprint to this day. After giving birth to her gorgeous son in 2010 she returned on a part-time basis moving away from the design side to take on HR and Health & Safety responsibilities within the company.

Outwith Multiprint she helps with her husband’s business, runs a fabulous female community choir and keeps creative by making and selling laser-cut jewellery in local shops and on her own website.

Jay Todd

His knowledge of paper and print production are excellent and he will go to great lengths to ensure Multiprint meets their commitment to each and every customer, ensuring a great product and exemplary service.

When not running around after his three children Jay can be found running ultra marathons on the trails at home and abroad.

He has a wealth of experience in litho print in every aspect from full colour production to matching the most difficult spot colours. Like many in a small business Ross is an adaptable member of the team often turning his hand to pre-press, guillotine work and finishing.

Outwith work he enjoys spending time with his son, going to the gym and following Fife Flyers.

Craig Payne

Craig joined Multiprint in 2015 in the finishing department and is now undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship in litho printing. Proving to be a great asset to the team, he is a fast learner and perfectionist when it comes to the finished print.
